Ready, Set, Swim: The Layout Process

A new pool is a major backyard upgrade that can add value to your property, provide a space for family and friends to gather and enjoy, and create a beautiful and relaxing outdoor living space. However, it is also a big project that requires careful planning, research, and execution. we're here to walk you through the entire process.

It's important to remember that once the digging starts, it can be tough and expensive to make changes.

So, we lay it out and give you time to look it over and double-check everything before we get started.

Before the heavy machinery shows up, we'll work with you to plan out the what’s what. The pool deck, equipment location, access for machinery, and any other outdoor amenities you're thinking of adding (hello, island grill!). All of this is part of the pool planning process, and it's important to get it right before we start digging.

Once the plan is set, we'll physically lay out the shape of your new pool in your backyard. This is typically done with marking paint or wood forms, stakes, and string lines. This is your chance to check out the layout and location of the pool in your yard and make sure it's perfect before we start digging.
